August in a nutshell. I went shopping in Fort Wayne for school with my mother dearest. That was pretty fun, all the stores out there are a little different than out here.... even so, I am having the darndest time trying to find school clothes that I actually like. And that don't cost an arm and a leg. After shopping with my mom I met Kd and Lauren @ Dominic's house. Dominic and Jack actually weren't there, so we just played video games with his little brother Tony (who happens to be my fave kid ever)  It was really fun, MARTH was the best. After a little while Dom jack ANd Jesse showed up..... and then we all went and picked up Andy from his hizouse. After that we went to Iddings elementary school to play on the playground a little bit and just act like big fools. Jack stole my shoe and stuck it in the middle of a slide >:o   Padge came and picked up Lauren since she had an early curfew, and the rest of us went to deep river county park. The gates were locked by the playground this time, but we still really wanted to go, so we parked on a residential street and walked along the railroad tracks into there. (Andy was making choochoo noises to all the people who were outside their houses, it was so funny). We walked for a while, far enough so that we couldnt see the road anymore, and then we went down this oober steep and big hill. Scary! The whole time it was lightning in the distance. Even scarier! So we finally made it down this big hill....... and we found a TRAIL... crazy enough... that went into DR. It started drizzling and we were gettin nervous for the big storm... but we had to keep walking. Andy and Jesse kept walking ahead of Kap Me Dom n Jack and they kept scaring us. Meanies! I was freaking out, that is for sure... i hate the dark... especially in an unknown part of the woods... heheh. We kept on walking... lost Jesse and Andy....... and by the time we made it into the parking lot of the Grist Mill (who knows how we managed that)  it started POURING down rain. And our cars were so far away. And then Dom's sister called and was like "I hope you guys are inside because we're having tornado warnings and the wind is like 70mph." And then dominic got hit in the head with a stick blowing in the wind. HAHAHA. Even so, we were SO scared, we couldn't find jess or andy, and we were in the middle of no where with wind bellowing like whoa and rain pouring faster than I ever did see. Jack took dom's keys and took off running for our cars to come back and pick us up. Kap and I were REALLY gettin scurrrrred and we wanted to go ask this house if we could like come inside / if they could give us a ride to ourcars, or whatever... but dominic was like "no what if they kill us." It was like ar eally bad scary movie. We flagged down a car, I know, we are so cool.. and the guy was ultra nice, considering we were in hysterics and SOAKING wet.. Turned out he was an EMT from Newton County, and he was totally understanding, he just said to be less dumb and to not go into places you aren't familiar with when the biggest storm of the summer is coming. So he drove us back, we found jack, and I guess sometime after that Jesse and Andy were picked up by them... who knows from where...  Looking back, that night was so much great fun. But while experiencing it.................. I was so scared I thought I might pee my pants!

Got grounded Wednesday from going to the beach for being so irresponsible the night before, which was okay with me because it turned out to be really ucky out and nobody went anyway. Worked that night, yay.....

Can't remember Thursday, slept in late probably. I think I had to work, but who knows.  Friday, didn't do anything, had to work that night. It was the busiest I've ever seen AMC, we got the Village and Catwoman and Bourne Supremacy and the Manchurian Candidate.... and we were busy like a mofo. I was kind of sad because I knew alot of people that were going to see the Village that night, but I had to work in the kitchen so I didn't even get to see any of them. I like working in the kitchen though. Besides the ENDLESS bags of popcorn to fill and all the pizzas and pretzels and nachos to make, its not so bad.  Wasn't scheduled to work SAturday, but I switched with Amanda so she would take my Sunday shift and I could go to Dominic's openhouse. We weren't as busy Saturday night as we were Friday, but it was still pretty crowded. I just really like my job

Sunday.. went to church. First time in ages. - Strange -  I GOT TO SEE SHAUN WOOD!! Oh how I love that boy. He was in Spain for 2 months, and he finally came home, and didn't even tell me. What a great surprise though. I missed him oodles. This was Dave (the intern's) 2nd to last Sunday @ Bethel, I'm sure I will miss him, but I dont think I got the chance to get to know him as well as I wanted to. I got to talk to Caleb Douglas, first time almost all summer, and it was great catching up with him. I never even realized how much I missed that boy. But now that I've talked to him I can't wait to talk to him again.    Went to Dominic's openhouse around 2... met Lauren Silva there, and Jack. Then Kap and Lo showed up.. and we ate.... and hmm Jack and I started playing catch but then his lover showed up and he ditched me. BOO! But it was for the best, because I went back to the table with Katie and Lauren and we pranked called random direct connect #s from my cell phone. It was lots and lots of fun. Broke up some marriages, ticked off some friends. Hahah juussssssssst jokin'. We left Dom's around 5 to go see the VILLAGE! YAY! WE stopped @ Walgreens first of course, to get some cheap eats. The Village.... was an -okay- movie. I think I was expecting it to be scarier, so I Was a little disappointed. That, and Kd/Lauren had the ending figured out about halfway through it, so I wasn't even surprised. BOo.  After the village we went back to Dominic's..... we played some volleyball and walked to this shelter across the field behind his house. Niki was there.. haven't seen her in awhile. We were getting eaten alive by mosquitos, so Tony (dom's lil bro) Jack Kd Lauren and I went to Walgreens, 2nd time that day, to buy bug spray. And marshmallows. And silly string (that was most important). Returned to a big bonfire, roasted some mallows and just sat around and enjoyed each other's company. More prank phone calls..... heheheh. Nick Jagiella was there, I love him! Even if he won't believe that I'm younger than him no matter how many times I tell him.  Andy wrote all of our initials on the firestones, it was cute. Made me sad, they leave so soon.

So I'm trying to remember my days.... not very successfully.....

Monday night, I can't remember. Tuesday, I went to the Railcats game with Donnie, Padge, Heather, Kt, Joe Patrick, and Justin Floyd. That was LOTS of fun. It was my first time driving on the highway, which was scary, especially with passengers. Railcats Stadium is crazy easy to get to though. Locked my keys in my car...... Justin and Padge were being very creative when they were trying to break in. My dad informed me were a *secret key* was located, so I finally got in, YAY! We got cheap seats along the 3rd base line, pretty close to the bull pen. Kt and I had fun table dancing (the chicken dance never looked better). Padge enjoyed being loud (a little TOO loud... haha but I liked it) And hmm Donnie and I had lots of fun making fun of Heather (you're dirtyyyy! DIRTY!) And thats about all that I remember. When we were walking out to our cars we met these 2 twenty-something year olds, wanted to hang out. BUt thats kind of illegal in all 50 states so.... we didn't. Went to Pizza Hut/Taco Bell for some grub, and back to Padge's. Fun times

Wednesday -- Went to indiana beach with my girls! Kaplaurgan + Monticello = ultra rad. Heather was supposed to come, but she backed out last minute, sadly. And our replacements (the boys) were too cheap, so it was just us 3, which was perfectly fine with me.  We got lost on the way there, of course, but it wasn't really our fault - the street signs were angled funny. We saw a church welcoming sign that said "TRUCKERS WELCOME" (wouldn't that be a great tattoo?)  We also saw "HICKS GAS" and a sign that read "You have just passed Jack's package!"  (Which, of course, we stopped to take a pictures in front of). We ate at a Delta Cone? I think thats what it was called. It was a cute little restaurant, full of hillbillies, and it was cheap. Thats all that matters. Had freakin' good burgers and gyros. We finally went into Ind.Beach, and bought our tickets (a little confusion, but whatever). We road all the rides we could and then some. The place was really uncrowded, which was a good and bad thing. No lines, but no people to mess with. We went into the haunted house.... hahah that was fun, definitely worth 3$. We also made a CD! ITS THE BOMB! Lady Marmalade, but 10x better because we are singing it.... hahaha we sound so terrible, its great. I got to see the CARPIES! I love the carpies. They're gross and dirty but they are so funny. I beat Kap n Ren in the shooting game, by almost 100 points. PIIIMP. Then again, I had to ride by myself, so I had 2 guns. Mwahha! We rode the double shot like 4 times, trying to ride the side with the lakeview. Blasted 12 year olds kept cutting in front of us and taking our seats. GRR! HEhe. We asked some workers there what they do for fun in the town, because it was only like...... 7 and we were ready to go... and they said they go to Lafayette. Which was oober far away so we didn't even bother checking it out. We just headed home.   We decided along the way that we would go to Reeder Road and Gypsy's Graveyard that night. We called up Padge because we needed a strong man around to keep us safe... hehe. REEDER ROAD WAS AWESOME! SO SCARY! I want to go back, Kd was near tears she was so scared, thought she was going to get raped or something. And she "saw people glowing at the end of the road."  If anyone wants to check that place out sometime, let me know, because I want to go back!  After REeder Road we found Gypsy's graveyard (with the help of some girl from Little Caesars)   Kd and Lauren were both really scared but that place is no big deal. THen out of no where 2 other people showed up, one of them happened to be Danielle, Justin Belko's ex-girlfriend from CrownPoint. So we stayed a little longer because they made it less scary.  After Gypsy's we went to steak n shake..... nad JOSH WAS WORKING. I just LOVE Josh. He is such a good guy, and he always gets us free stuff. We left him our #s (including Padge's...) but he has yet to call us. :'( How sad.  Mike paid for all our dinners, yay! Gotta love his credit card.    Kd and Lauren spent the night, we didn't really do much, we were WIPED.

FRIDAY! LEFT FOR TOLEDO!!!!!!!!!! RADDDDD!

Met @ Nicole's @ 6:30 am. TO and Thomas were there too. We met our whole team in the MHS parking lot @ 7. And off we went! We made one stop on the way there, at a rest stop. Most people bought dunkin donuts but I bought ice cream. And the guy working gave me an extra scoop for free! What a swell guy. And TO bought a shot glass, lol what a weirdo. We got to our hotel around noon. Our hotel was HUGE.... penthouse suites.... it was tizight! Me, TO, Thomas, Traina, Nicole, Francis, Abby Prasco and Jessica Falls shared a room. First thing we did was change in our swimsuits and hit the pool. JEssica had some awesome cannonballs, lemme tell ya. Hahah. Most people just laid out to tan though. After that we went to McDonalds and then to our first game... against MAumee. They were the same colors as us so it was *crazy.*  Hehe. We lost 2-9. After that game we chilled at the complex and bought Tshirts and food and whatnot. Then we played again and lost. 17-1. WOW. That night we ordered pizza. MMM! Had it delivered to our room too mwaha. I talked to Darren on the phone for the first time, and no, I wasn't avoiding/ignoring his calls. He is so easy to talk to. Tried our hardest to figure out Nelly and Gov's room #, but no such luck (ROOM 319!). Played Pit and Kemps (table talk). Sleeping arrangements: Abbie/Falls, upstairs bed. Thomas/Francis, downstairs bed. Nicole, Traina, Me - couch.  TO - floor.    I ended up on the floor that night alongside TO after I woke up and was halfway in the crack of the couch.

Woke up kind of early in the morning and went to eat breakfast. After breakfast  the usual 6 of us went shopping @ Old Navy and then to Kohls to buy backpacks that match Govert's and Nelly's. Hahahah. It was really funny. Our first game wasn't until 1 and I'm sure we lost. Oh  Ithink that was the team that hit like 4 homeruns in 1 inning. Yeah 19-0. That team was AWESOME. The finesse. They're like a freakin' olympic team. For finland, maybe? Didnt have another game for a few hours so we stopped ate some subway and then did some sneaking around the Vowells' hotel because they were staying @ the same one as Gov and Nel. Room 220! YEAH! We found it, oh fo sho. Played another game, dont really remember, probably lost. THen I think we played another game right after that, and we won like 3-2. The last Royals game of the season. My last Royals game ever. And maybe my last softball game ever. Hmm?? I didn't even get to play. Yup, I was pissed alright.

After the game the team went out to eat @ a Chinese Buffet. It was good! The usual kids ate with Brooke, coach Niksich's daughter who is 4. She is SO cute and SO fun. She kept calling Nicole weird. hahaha. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Brooke had so much fun with us at the restaurant, she decided to stay with us in our hotel that night. What a cutie. It was her first time sleeping away from her parents too, isnt that cute? We had lots of fun doing cheers and dancing. Brooke is a cheerleader and liked to show us her favorites, they were hilarious.  That night Nicole, Traina, T, and I played volleyball at the hotel. It was fun, I think Traina and I lost, I dont really remember. The boys who were staying below our suite invited us to their room to get "buzzed on suds." They looked like they were having alot of fun, drinking beer and playing chess. Didn't quite accept that invitation, lol. The next morning we woke up early and went to CEDAR POINT!!!!!!! T and I rode iwth the Vowells, even though Nicole and Thomas ditched us for Govert and NElly's vehicle. Bah on them.  Took a little over an hour to get there. That was such a fun day, although most of it was spent waiting in line. The dragster is the best ride I think I will ever go on. It was DEFINITELY worth the wait, and the wait wasn't even that long!  We went and saw a show called "Starstruck" (Startrek? Starbucks? Star's truck?  Yeah we had lots of other names for it). It was quite comical, 5 boys and 5 girls singing choral arrangements of fairly popular songs... like NSYNC and Britney Spears and Elvis and lots of others. It was really really funny. (uh oh uh oh uh oh!!) After Cedar Point the usual people went out to eat @ Fridays. Thats always good. I thought I left my money there but hten I found it in our hotel later - whew -.  Monday left early to come home..... I was home by noon. We had to lift weights later, but that was no big deal.

That trip was the best

The next week escapes me. July 19-23. I'm sure I worked a couple nights or days and whatnot. Probably did nothing too exciting, nothing worth remembering obviously. I think I went to Ryan Collins' house one night with Kd, Heather, Donnie, Padge, and C WACK. My bball team dominated, obviously. And I totally won in REmote Possibilities, probably because I wasn't playing against Jack. I also won Egyptian Rat Screw, because my skillfully fast fingers outrun Donnies. :) And Kd, Heather, and I took some HOT pictures on Mike's phone. Mwhaha. Lindz and I also took a trip to the library, and right when I was about to check out, Iremembered I needed to get a new library card. And then they wouldn't even let me get one. So I took out 1 CD on Lindz's card... " The LOONEY WEST"  yes thats right. Looney Toons singing country tunes. How pimp is that? Royals were supposed to play a game against the Valpo THunder again, only @ their field in portage, and it stormed like CRAZY. And i had to drive home from portage in the crazyness, and it was so scary, and it took me forever to get home and I couldn't see through my foggy windows and it was just madness. So many trees blocking the roads, I must've turned around 4 times.

And oh! I started talking to Darren Zancan, who happens to be the guy I mentioned from the musical Joseph. He was my favorite brother! And he is a really great guy!   Courtney Miller! Thanks for the hookup! Heheh!
